The Fourth Conference
The Fourth International Conference on School Psychology in Vietnam, “Developing Training Programs and Managing Quality Assurance for Training and Services in School Psychology in Vietnam,” was be held on August 14th and 15th, 2014 in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The Third Conference
The Third International Conference on School Psychology in Vietnam, “Developing Skills and Models of Service Delivery in School Psychology” was held on July 2012 in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), Vietnam.
The Second Conference
The Second International Conference on School Psychology in Vietnam, “Promoting School Psychology Research, Training and Practices in Vietnam,” was held on January 6th and 7th, 2011 in Huế, Vietnam.
The First U.S.-Vietnam Conference on School Psychology
The First U.S.-Vietnam Conference on School Psychology, “Needs, Direction, and Training of School Psychology in Vietnam” was held in Vietnam on August 3rd and 4th, 2009.
- Michael Michalak, the U. S. Ambassador to Vietnam at the time, gave the opening ceremony speech.
- Faculty from eleven institutions of higher education, educators, and mental health service providers from Vietnam, France, Australia, and the U. S. presented on a wide array of topics relating to the practice of School Psychology.
- At the post-conference meeting, representatives from U.S. and Vietnamese institutions agreed to create the Consortium to Advance School Psychology, Vietnam.
